Atelier

The sun is about to rise above the horizon
and launch itself
into the sky.
The light is slowly transforming.
Little by little.
It is a beautiful day, today.
With the window wide open, the air circulates freely.
A tranquil air that fills my absences.
That caresses my senses.
And I look,
I think.
Perfect silence.
From this window, I see the Seine and the birds,
crisscrossing
the space.
In this embryonic cage,
arranged as I please,
I am alone.
I draw.
I paint.
I am me, in the ritual shadow of my passion.
